Helen Norris Garner Beaudet



June 30, 1939 – February 17, 2020

Helen Norris Garner Beaudet, 80, of Spring TX, went to her heavenly home February 17th after several years of many illness’s. She was born in Johnston County, North Carolina to Ronnie Lee Norris and Lillie Person Pilkington who preceded her in death.

During Helen’s working career in the late 1970’s and 1980′, she was one of the first “Airport Hostess'” and later worked in the Communication Center at Intercontinental Airport Houston (IAH), now called George Bush Intercontinental Airport. While working at the airport her manager Nordean Yates, became another one of her loving sisters. We have known Nordean and her family for over 40 years now and am so thankful that they are a part of our family.

Helen is also preceded in death by her loving sister, Carol Jean Gravelle. Her ex-husband Percy David “Tiny Boy” Garner; siblings Lena Gertrude Narron, Thomas Lee Norris, Linda Grace Lee, Clara Mae Minshew, Doris Louise Minshew and Johnny Wayne Norris. Grandson Kevin Alan Brown and great grandson Nicholas Wayne Garner.

She is survived by her loving sons, David Ray Garner of Spring, TX and Gregory Wayne Garner of Humble, TX. Daughter-in-law Dianne Lynn Brown Garner of Humble, TX. Great­-grandson Kyle Alan Brown of Humble, TX. Grandson Shannon Wayne Garner and Nicole Wise Garner of Humble, TX. Great-grandsons Camron Wayne Garner and Isaiah Wayne Garner of Humble, TX. Grandson Casey Ray Garner and D’lisa Loera Garner of Cypress, TX. Great-grandsons Mavryk Gray Garner and Gatlyn Nox Garner.

Her living siblings and their families. Virginia Lee Braswell of Clayton, NC; Judith Ann Farnall of Middlesex, NC; James Ronnie Norris of Norfolk, VA; Larry Eugene Norris of Greensboro, NC; David Earl Norris of Clayton, NC; Jerry Ralph Norris of Pine Level, NC; Sandra Sue Norris Stroud of Selma, NC; William Harold Norris of Clayton, NC; Alice Diane Turner of Princeton, NC; Alan Lane Norris of Benson, NC.

Helen will be sadly missed and loved dearly.

Her Heavenly Walk With Jesus Has Begun.
