Sandy Wren-Ratcliff

Was called home by our heavenly Father on September 8, 2020 after complications due a seizure.

Born Sandra Sue Watson on March 1, 1958 in Henderson, Texas to William and Patricia Watson. She is preceded in death by both of her parents Bill and Pat, sister Mindy, son James and granddaughter Ashtion.

Sandy is survived by Sister Marie, Son Michael his Wife Christina and grandson Xander,

Son Billy his Wife Christy and Grandsons Billy Jr. his wife Chase, Joshua his Fiancée’ Krystal, and Ryan his Fiancée’ Aubrie

Granddaughters Chasidy, Skye, Hope, and Shannon “Daughters of James”.

Partner James Harvey

And several great grand babies, nieces, nephews and friends.

Sandy loved her family dearly and was happiest when surrounded by them. There wasn’t a time in her life that she wasn’t telling anyone and everyone how proud she was of her kids, grandkids and great grandkids. Even her daughters and Granddaughters-in-law who she claimed as her own from the start. Affectionately called Mom or MawMaw by those both blood related and adopted family friends it didn’t matter, everyone was family to Sandy if you were in her life.

Always quick to praise but would definitely call you out when she felt like you were out of line.

She was a passionate straight shooter that spoke her mind. Years of waitressing and bartending earned her a thick skin but she would help out anyone who needed a hand if she was able to.

Sandy loved to have a good time. In her younger days you could always find her in a pair of rocky mountain jeans and a cigarette in her mouth. Her laugh distinguishable in a crowd and her smile was genuine. Slowed down in the last several years of life due to health issues but you could always find her on Facebook playing games, sharing meme’s and keeping up with friends and family.

Mom you are already dearly missed and a hole in our lives without you. Your family and extended adopted families will keep your memory alive because of the times we have shared and the impressions you have left burned in our hearts and minds. All individual yet the same because of the love you gave to us all.
